Children's Services Trainer
With the continuous expansion of the Children’s Services industry, we require a part-time Child Care Trainer to work 3 days a week initially with the view of full-time employment.
Duties / Responsibilities
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to co-ordinate work priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Highly developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Demonstrate ability to prepare written documentation and reports regularly.
Sound knowledge of training packages.
Delivery of training one on one to students in Children’s Services Centres and classroom delivery within the Western Metropolitan region.
Willingness to undertake regular professional development both formal and informal
Business development

Certificate IV Assessor and Workplace Trainer or TAA (or willingness to undertake upgrade)
Advanced Diploma of Children’s Services or equivalent
Working with Children Check
Training experience and understanding of training package
Proven recent experience in Children’s Services
Have a sound knowledge of program planning and behaviour guidance
Understanding Australian Apprenticeships is desirable and other government funded training
Knowledge of delivery & assessment strategies/AQTF requirements.

Sessional Trainers
We are currently seeking applications from qualified trainers to deliver qualifications in the workplace (throughout Melbourne & regional Victoria) and classroom. Trainers with appropriate qualifications and current relevant vocational experience in the following fields are sought - Financial Services, Customer Contact, Business Management, Aged & Disability Care, Education & Retail.
The successful applicant will have:
Experience in delivering workplace and/or classroom based training and assessment.
Highly developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
A sound working knowledge of the principles of adult learning.
Demonstrated ability to prepare written documentation and reports in accordance with company policy and guidelines.
Sound knowledge of training packages.
Willingness to undertake regular professional development both formal and informal.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Proven recent experience in your vocation.
Understanding of Australian Apprenticeships and other government funded training is desirable.
Experience and/or qualifications in dealing with language, literacy and numeracy issues will also be considered favourably
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAA40104)
Certificate IV or higher in your vocation.
